Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm (Koref) is the first and only Certified Organic Rice Farm in Malaysia sprawling over 260 acres of rice farming land which provides 'free & easy' and 'packaged' eco farmstays. It attained full organic status certification in December 2005 from the Malaysian Agriculture Ministry over a stringently monitored conversion period since 2001. The farm is irrigated by the unpolluted river water from the 1,010m Belumut mountain.

Koref Eco Farm is uniquely a nature-inclined health enhancing eco lifestyle farm providing life enriching and team-building, bonding activities like mountain climbing, hands-on seasonal rice farming, jungle trekking, jungle river trail, challenge at the 'Asli' water obstacle course, bamboo-rafting, drum-rafting, hands-on fish catching (and release) with trawl net, hands-on field cooking, handicraft making with nature endowed available, hands-on making local snacks, nature walk, topography, water-bound games, night water-mass crossing, night jungle trail, barbecue, campfire, arrangements may be made to visit the local 'kampung', 'Orang Asli' settlement or community involvement programmes with local schools or other organisations.

In 2006, Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm incorporated Koref Eco Farm Resort to enhance nature inclined eco farm activities for its visitors.

KAHANG ORGANIC RICE ECO FARM or KOREF strives to,

1)  cultivate and produce quality organic rice, vegetables, fruits and herbs in its farm, ensuring that they are available at prudent and affordable prices;
2)  create, expand and propogate the existing organic farm produce market;
3)  reduce marketing and packaging cost through 'direct from farm to consumer marketing' system;
4)  enable the organic farm to achieve an economy of scale so that it can operate in perspective towards sustainable eco system that is economically and financially viable.
